Campus Timeline:
Benefactors Refurbishment (2016)

This was the first major refurbishment of the Benefactors building since it was constructed in 1966 – one of the first buildings on campus.

Benefactors is now among the highest quality accommodation available on campus, offering self-contained apartments, shared accommodation and a ground floor social area for its residents. We've also worked a great deal on the outside of the building too, giving it a modern look and much improved surrounding landscape so that it better fits with our recently developed Benefactors Place plaza area.

As ever, sustainability was a key consideration in this project. We've connecting the building to the campus heating network, powered by our efficient combined heating and power plant to cut down on energy consumption.
