We’re delighted to announce that we've added an extra 267 en suite rooms to campus following our extension of the Sherbourne residences. These three new blocks are a key part of our strategy to provide more on-campus accommodation to our ever-growing student community.
"We need new student accommodation", wrote Vice-Chancellor Stuart Croft in his first message when he took up the role in 2016. This project, along with the new residences at Cryfield Village is part of our work to address that need.
We provide a wide range of affordable student accommodation on campus. This new extension to the Sherbourne residences increases our capacity to a total of 6,767 beds on campus, all managed by our Warwick Accommodation team. The have fitted out these new rooms with improved beds with cushions for relaxing and additional storage, following feedback gathered in a survey of students.
Warwick Accommodation manage over 10,000 beds for the University, with the remaining 3,000+ off-campus. Our Accommodation team are one of the largest managed accommodation providers in the University sector, fully focused on serving the needs of our students.
