How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

This week's subject is "Apps for study and productivity", but you can ask our Postgrad Mentors anything about postgrad life, be it academic or pastoral. If they don’t know the answer, they’ll know in which direction to point you, either a more appropriate Mentor or another Warwick service!

The webinar will introduce you to the desktop version of EndNote and will demonstrate how to import or add references to your library, how to create groups, how to attach full text articles. It will also show you how to use the Cite While You Write function in Microsoft Word to generate citations and bibliographies.

Study Happy Mindfulness

Mindfulness practice is one of the 5 ways to wellbeing recommended by the NHS. Doing regular mindfulness exercises can help manage daily stress and has impact areas of the brain related to memory retrieval, decision making, and outward attention.

Our free weekly workshops are a great way to try different mindfulness techniques if you are a beginner, and find dedicated space and time for regular practice.

No booking necessary, open to all students at the University of Warwick. If would like to learn more about mindfulness practice, visit: warwick.ac.uk/mindful-library

On Track - Getting Organised: Managing your Postgrad Brain

One of the biggest jumps from undergraduate to postgraduate study is the increase in time spent developing your own arguments and viewpoints on your subject. This session will give you some of the tools to help you best navigate this change and ensure all your ideas stay coherent, organised, and not get lost.

This workshop will be held in-person on campus; the venue is yet to be confirmed.

Within Books is a monthly student book club run by Study Happy and Warwick EQ Society. The group is open to all levels and areas of study (undergrad and postgrad), and we discuss texts in relation to themes of identity, relationships, mental health and many more!
Join us for our first literary classics session, in which we will be discussing the essay 'The Myth of Sisyphus' by Albert Camus, which can be found as the final chapter in the novel of the same name.
