Kortext e book platform
All users need to register when they first log in to Kortext.
This is so that they can have a personal bookshelf which they can access across multiple devices and download books for offline use
To do this at the prompt screen login with email address, create a password and confirm it to gain access.
Emerald Insight: 403 Bad Request error
Update 23rd October
We are aware that some users are experiencing some issues with accessing Emerald resources from Library Search and Classic Catalogue. The cause of the problem has been identified. There are some cookies from the Emerald platform that are interfering with the authentication process. We have raised the issue with Emerald. However, for the time being there is a solution that can provide direct access to Emerald resources.

Dawsonera e-books now available via VLeBooks platform
06/08/20: Further to the previous messages nearly all of the Dawsonera e-books have now been switched to the VLeBooks platform and the links updated in Library Search, so access should be available again. If you have any problems accessing any titles please contact the Library.

31/07/20: Further to the message below Dawsonera is no longer available. We are working to switch as many titles as possible to the VLeBooks platform and hope that the majority of our Dawsonera titles will soon be available via this alternative platform. Once they are available we will be working to switch our links for these e-books to the new platform. If you urgently need to access any of the former Dawsonera titles before we have changed the links please do try accessing the VLeBooks platform clicking on 'Shibboleth' and signing in as a University of Warwick user. Once the former Dawsonera titles are available you should be able to find them by searching for them.
09/07/20: Dawson Books went into administration on 19th June, 2020. Although the Dawsonera platform has remained accessible for several weeks it could stop working at any time. The Library is working to find ways to switch content from the Dawsonera platform to other e-book providers. However, we have been advised that if users have annotations, notes comments or enhanced content in Dawsonera this probably cannot be transferred for technical reasons. Therefore we have been advised to recommend that users download any notes that they wish to keep as soon as possible prior to the Dawsonera service being switched off.
