Improved search options

You said: It's confusing to have a search box on the homepage and a search tab (top left of tabs/navigation banner).

We did: Today (10 July) we have removed the search tab and added all the additional search options underneath the main 'Library Search' (catalogue search) box on our website homepage. These include databases Reading Lists, Course Extracts, Archives and Warwick Research Publications.

You will now be able to go to your chosen resource search via one click, therefore, improving your user experience by removing unnecessary clicks to get to the search option you require, ultimately bringing these options to you immediately.

This compliments our recent new feature ‘search our site’ box which enables you to search the Library website only (not the catalogue), helping you to find the information you require on our website much faster. You will still be able to search the whole of Warwick websites by using the top ‘Search Warwick’ box.

We hope you will find our enhancements of benefit if you have any further feedback please email us.

Student takeover!

We’ve recruited a student newsletter team. They’ll be bringing you twice termly newsletters via a takeover of the Warwick Student newsletter and we’ll be posting some of the content in this Library news feed. Select the ‘takeover’ tag to filter student content.
