Essential works are continuing as outlined below as part of the Library Refurbishment Project. It will be necessary to close off certain areas and floors to complete the works, and these areas will be cordoned off with barriers and signage to confirm closure.

To minimise disruption to Library users, it has been agreed these works will be completed overnight, with contractors working 10pm until 10am, and, the contractors have scheduled the works so only one floor will be closed at any one time. Whilst there will be some noise during the closure period, it should be minimal.

We apologise for any inconvenience or disturbance caused. The areas affected by these works during the week of 21 February are:

• Monday 21 February at 10pm until 10am on Tuesday 22 February & Tuesday 22 February at 10pm until 10am on Wednesday 23 February

Closure of Floor 1. There will be no access to study space on this floor during the closure period

In addition, the following services/areas will be affected:

• • • Short Loan & Click and Collect items – these items will be available upon request. Please see a member of staff who will assist
    • Self-issue and return of items - please follow signage provided
    • Library entrance/exit - please follow signage to access/exit the Library
• Wednesday 23 February at 10pm until 10am on Thursday 24 February & Thursday 24 at 10pm until 10am on Friday 25 February

Works to the front Ground Floor entrance. Please follow signage to access the Library.
