You said - we did! Space, power and accessibility improvements
We’re always looking to improve our Library spaces, and in response to your feedback, we’ve made the following improvements – enjoy!
Main Library
Floors 1 and 2:
- 5 additional high coffee tables to improve study provision in soft seating areas
- General improvements to power access
- Consultation Pod
Floors 3, 4 and 5:
- Additional power provision for 266 spaces
- 16 additional quiet study spaces (floors 4 and 5)
- All Accessible Rooms have now been refurbished, have automatic doors, and new furniture
- New sensory equipment (floor 5, Accessible Room)
PG Hub:
- 4 Additional study desks in central atrium for group study
- PG3 Accessible Room with height adjustable desk
- 1 additional height adjustable desk in central atrium
- General improvements to power access throughout
Learning Grids University House
LG1:
- 8 Additional study spaces on floor 1
- General improvements to power access throughout LG1
LG2:
- Accessible Room with height adjustable desk
- Fixed PC’s in both Presentation Rooms, enabling use of the plasma screens without a need for own laptop
