Summon AI Research Assistant
Summon Research Assistant is a new tool available through Library Search that helps students and researchers find resources. It uses AI to summarize search results and highlight the most relevant sources.
You can ask questions in everyday language, and it will search trusted library materials for you. It quickly gives you an overview of the topic using reliable sources, including some that may not be in the library’s current collection. It will link you to the full text of the resource, or to a Get it For Me link. The most important sources are clearly cited in the summary, so you can see where the information comes from.
From there, you can choose to explore more results, change your original question, or look into related topics the tool suggests. The Summon Research Assistant gives fast, clear answers with links to the sources it used, making it easy to go deeper into your research.
Important Notes:
Summon Research Assistant is a beta product, and we would be interested in your feedback. Email library@warwick.ac.uk to tell us what you think!
Not all our Library resources and databases are searchable by the Summon Research Assistant – it is a beta product and not all publishers are currently participating. For advice on how to ensure your search captures all relevant resources, have a look at our Library Online Courses, or talk to your Research and Academic Support Librarian .
Access Summon Research Assistant via the link on the top left of the Library Search homepage.
