Sensory Workspace

Sensory Workspace

Do you find the Pomodoro technique that we use in our Write Here Write Now sessions useful but need the environment to be different? Sensory Workspace might be the perfect event for you.

Sensory Workspace is a focused study session in a sensory workspace, which includes sensory lighting, soundscapes and fidget toys. Noise cancelling headphones will also be provided for anyone who needs them.

The next Sensory Workspace will take place on Tuesday 14th May (Week 4) from 1pm - 4pm in the Training Room (Library, Floor 2). This event is a drop-in session so you can join whenever you wish and leave when you're done.

Sensory Refresh

The idea for Sensory Workspace stems from Sensory RefreshLink opens in a new window, which is an event that the Library hosts that allows you to explore your sensory profile and find out what you need from your environment to ensure you get the most out of your studies.

They are interactive sessions that you can drop in and out of, and free refreshments are available throughout.

You can also find a selection of information about your senses on our dedicated webpage for the event, so do check that out too.
