About Gathering Space
Gathering Space is a welcoming venue on Floor 2 of the Main Library designed to host events that foster connection across the university and the wider civic community. With its striking all-glass frontage, the space naturally draws in passing students and visitors, making it ideal for drop-in engagement and spontaneous participation. Inside, the flexible layout supports a wide range of activities - from panel discussions and workshops to informal meetups. The space is bookable by university staff and is also available for students to study outside of bookings.

- Gathering Space does not include any AV equipment but arrangements for a mobile screen can be made with prior notice.
- The session leader must supervise students or visitors attending a session while in the space
- To help maintain the spaces for everyone, please ensure rooms are left tidy at the end of your booking.
