Genio
Genio is a learning-focused, cloud-based notetaking and study tool designed to help students capture lectures, organise content, and improve retention and study skills. (Formerly Glean).
What is the software for?
- Recording classes (in-person or online) and attaching labels or flags for key moments in lectures
- Converting audio recordings to text transcripts and syncing with lecture slides, PDFs, images, or handwritten notes
- Organising notes, drawing or inserting visuals, and generating study materials like outlines and quizzes (e.g. “Quiz Me”)
How can I access?
- Through Genio’s web platform (online) as well as apps/extensions for Chrome, Windows/Mac desktop, iOS and Android
- UoW credentials required to access.
