Summer Building Works 2025

Updates on our Summer Building Works

The Library has completed a number of building works over the summer period to keep our building up to scratch.

Completed projects include:

Floor One Draught Lobby

To improve energy efficiency and create a more comfortable indoor environment, draught-proof doors have been installed in the lobby. These upgrades help minimize heat loss, reduce energy consumption, and contribute to a more sustainable building overall.

Silent Study Room and Floor 2 & 3 Extension

Coloured Perspex panels have been replaced with white panels, significantly brightening the space and contributing to a more modern aesthetic.

Helpdesk Window Decals

Decorative decals have been added to the Helpdesk windows to enhance their appearance and create a more inviting look.

Accessible Study Room on Floor 2 Extension

A new Accessible Study Room has been created in the Floor 2 extension to better support students registered with Disability Services.
