Leamington Spa Railway is the main train transport link for Leamington Spa, around 30-40 minutes to campus by car or bus. It runs frequent trains to:

• London (1-2 hours).
• Birmingham (30 minutes).
• Coventry (15 minutes).

Stagecoach and National Express regularly run buses from Leamington Spa to get you to and from campus.

• U1 Stagecoach.
  • 20-25 minutes to campus from Upper Parade Stand G (North of the parade in Leamington).
  • 25-30 minutes to campus from Parish Church Stand B (South of the parade in Leamington).
• X17 Stagecoach.
  • 30 minutes to campus from Upper Parade Stand G (North of the parade in Leamington).
• X11 National Express.
  • 30 minutes to campus from Upper Parade Stand F (North of the parade in Leamington).
  • 35-40 minutes to campus from Parish Church Stand B (South of the parade Leamington).

Please note that the bus stops listed above are known to become very crowded at peak times in the mornings, and can result in missed buses and long wait times, which may delay your journey to campus. Please plan your journey in advance and account for this when choosing where to live.

We understand that our campus-based library may not always be accessible to you, and if this is the case you can use the local library situated on the high street.

For those less centrally located, you may prefer the Whitnash or Lillington libraries.

All local libraries are free to use, both for resources and space- you may just need to register with them.

Leamington highstreet boasts a large range of coffee shops and cafes, check out some study spaces and find what suits your needs.

Leamington offers a variety of grocery stores and shops idea for all students. You can find supermarkets such as Tesco and Co-Op on the central high street, or the local Morrisions next to the station. For those looking for something more specific, you can check out some of the various local stops and stores on the local high street.

Depending on where you're looking at living you might find the Asda superstore, Sainsbury's, Lidl or ALDI may suit your needs.

There are many ways to stay connected with international cultures whilst studying with us. Leamington has a diverse and vibrant cultural landscape, with a wide range of both shops and markets catering to international needs.

Please make sure to take into account your health needs when looking for your next place to stay. Registering with a GP and finding your nearest Pharmacy is incredibly important. For more guidance, you can also check out our health and wellbeing pages!

• You may find it more convenient to use the local Pharmacy housed within the Student Union.

Leamington Spa is well known for it's flourishing high street, along with its' many well-stocked charity shops and cafés. However, best of all is the roughly 500 shops available in the Royal Priors shopping centre and the surrounding high street ranging from independent to your usual high street brands. And don't forget all of the independent stores, especially in the southern part of the parade!

On the edge of Leamington Spa you will find Leamington Shopping Park- a curated selection of shops for those looking for a quieter atmosphere.

And don't forget the well-known Leamington markets- spend the last Sunday of the month exploring the Covent Garden Quarter Markets or keep an eye out for the Seasonal Producers Markets!

There are a lot of opportunities to get involved with sports and exercise, the Newbold-Comyn Lesiure Centre offers a gym, fitness classes and swiming along with a Clip n' Climb arena- and their own pitches!

If you're looking to get more involved in outdoor sports have a look at the wide range of opportunities available. Don't forget to check out other group activities, such as park runs!

Alternatively, there are plenty of gyms to get involved with, or for those who want to integrate sport and study consider joining the University's own Sports and Wellness hub.

No matter your faith, find somewhere that suits your needs in the local area. There are a range of local churches, as well as the Shree Krishna Temple, the Gurdwara Sahib and the Masjid Al Birr.

If you're looking for a place of worship and can't find any local provision, please remember that the Chaplaincy is always available to support you.

Leamington Spa is well know for its historical Pump Rooms, home to the art gallery and museum, which runs events throughout the year.

Leamington Spa is just a 20 minute bus ride to Warwick and a 40 minute ride to Stratford-Upon-Avon, using the X18 bus service.
