Appointment of Catholic Chaplain
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Father Simon Baker, as Catholic Chaplain to the University. There will be a service of welcome on Wednesday 19 February at 4.30pm, followed by light refreshments. Notice of temporary weekend road closures: HS2 A46
There will be HS2 A46 weekend closures on: Friday 7th - Monday 10th & Friday 14th - Monday 17th February 2025. Please plan ahead. Balfour Beatty VINCI are working, in partnership with HS2 and National Highways, to construct the A46 box structure which will carry the new HS2 line under the A46 near Kenilworth. To prepare for the installation of the bridge in April 2025, there will be preparatory works in February 2025.
Holocaust Memorial Day
We are commemorating Holocaust Memorial Day with a series of events to honour the victims of the Holocaust and reflect on its enduring lessons. This year’s observance marks 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, a powerful reminder of the atrocities of the Holocaust.

University House and WMG access restricted
On Wednesday 22 January, access to University House will be restricted to staff only, and WMG buildings will move to a single point of access. This is in response to a planned rally at lunchtime on Wednesday.

Be aware of yearbook scams
An email scam by the name of "My Yearbook" is scamming students by offering to add student profiles to a yearbook for 2024/25. Please be aware that these services do not exist and the yearbook is fraudulent.

New coffee launching on campus
We're switching our coffee offering on campus from Starbucks to our new supplier, Bridge Coffee Roasters. We’ve made this decision based on your feedback and our desire to offer coffee that aligns with our commitments to people and the planet. It will be available from 6 January 2025!

Warwick is committed to addressing unacceptable behaviour on campus, as reflected in the 2023/24 Report and Support annual report. The report and support platform enables students and staff to disclose experiences and to make an overall better environment.
