Your Futures Roadshow 2026

Join us for theYour Futures Roadshow 2026, a two-day programme of events taking place on15–16 July, designed to support postgraduate students as they prepare for their next steps after Warwick.

Whether you are planning to build your career in the UK, return home, or explore opportunities elsewhere in the world, the Roadshow offers practical advice, alumni insights, and opportunities to connect with University services and fellow students.

Throughout the two days, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn effective strategies for finding jobs in the UK and internationally
  • Hear directly from Warwick alumni about their career journeys and experiences
  • Explore post-study work options and visa-related guidance
  • Build your intercultural competence and confidence in global workplaces
  • Receive practical support on housing and renting after graduation
  • Connect with fellow students, alumni, and University teams through networking sessions

Whether you are still exploring your options or actively preparing for your next role, the Your Futures Roadshow will provide the tools, connections and insights to help you take the next step with confidence.

Your Graduate Job Search: A Practical Toolkit

10 am - 11 am, Student Opportunity Hub

Learn about the UK graduate job market, employer expectations, recruitment timelines, and effective job search strategies. This session will provide practical advice to help you navigate applications, interviews, and career opportunities in the UK.

Renting after Studies

11 am-12 pm, Online

Thinking about staying in the UK after graduation? This session will cover key considerations when renting privately, including tenancy agreements, deposits, budgeting, and your rights and responsibilities as a tenant.

China Graduate Job Market Insights (Mandarin-speaking)

11:00 am-12:30 pm, Zeeman Building (MS.05 )

Explore current trends, opportunities, and recruitment practices within the Chinese graduate job market. Delivered in Mandarin, this session will provide practical guidance for students planning to begin their careers in China.

Global Alumni Panel

1:00 pm-2:30 pm, Online

Hear from Warwick alumni working across different countries and sectors as they share their career journeys, challenges, and lessons learned. Gain valuable insights into navigating international careers and life after Warwick.

AI for careers

2:30 pm-3:30 pm, Online

Learn how AI is reshaping recruitment, the workplace and career development, with practical guidance on using AI ethically in applications, interviews and career planning while building essential future-ready skills.

Coffee, Chat and Chat

3:30 pm-4:30 pm, The Nook

Take a break, meet fellow students, and connect with University staff in an informal setting. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and expand your network before graduation.

Post Study work options

10:30 am -11:30 am, Online

Learn about the different pathways available after graduation, including the Graduate Route, Skilled Worker visas, and other opportunities for working in the UK. Student Visa Advice will provide up-to-date guidance and answer your questions.

Finding jobs outside UK

11:30 am -12:30 pm, Online

Explore strategies for searching and applying for opportunities across international markets. This session will cover global job search resources, recruitment practices, and how to present your Warwick experience to employers worldwide.

Impressing interviewers with your multicultural experiences

1:30 pm -3:00 pm, Student Opportunity Hub

Develop the skills and awareness needed to work effectively in diverse and international environments. Through practical examples and reflection, this session will help you build confidence in communicating and collaborating across cultures.

In-person Alumni Panel

3:00 pm -5:00 pm, Creative Learning Space, Library

Meet Warwick alumni in person and hear first-hand accounts of their transition from university to professional life. Learn about the opportunities, challenges, and decisions that shaped their careers after Warwick.
