Faculty of Arts Study Café - Demystifying Assessments
Assessments are an inevitable fact of university life - but, faced with essays, presentations, creative tasks, forum engagement and a whole other host of styles, it can be difficult to know where to start and how to turn in strong work. This session aims to demystify assessments, presenting practical advice on assessment types and offering tips on how to effectively engage with your assessment material.
Faculty of Arts Study Café - Arts URSS Showcase
Join us in the Agora for a showcase, celebrating our students who've undertaken the Undergraduate Research Support Scheme (URSS) and learning how to get involved yourself. We'll hear from Wendy Hunt, the URSS coordinator, about the scheme, and some of our Arts students will present their research. We've got guests from external organisations who want to work with students, and we'll have staff members keen on supervising projects.
Faculty of Arts Study Café - The Craft of Research
We often talk about research, but what does it mean, and how can students take part? This session explores research, and showcases how students can engage with research, and do so effectively.
