Debora is a Teaching Fellow and joined the University of Warwick in October 2022. Since gaining an MA in social work from Warwick in 2009, she has chosen to focus her social work career in adults' services including hospital social work, learning disabilities/ physical impairment teams, and with older adults. Debora recently worked as a Consultant Social Worker for the West Midlands Social Work Teaching Partnership, collaborating with partners from higher education and local authorities to improve and maintain high quality social work teaching and practice in the region. Debora is an experienced Practice Educator and mentor and brings this expertise to the role, as well as a passion for supporting learning and development. Debora has particular interests in safeguarding adults, end of life care and co-production. Debora is registered with Social Work England.
