Student Digital Skills Mentors
CLL now has an established team of students who act as Digital Skills Mentors (DSM) to support other students in need of help, support and advice using technology. This can include help with word processing, creating presentations, searching for information or just improving confidence with IT.
CLL eLearning Manager Jim Judges says “We know the importance of digital skills for success in studies and future employment, and have seen first-hand what a difference improved digital skills can make”.
Established CLL students on any programme, with confidence in the use of IT can apply to become a future part-time paid mentor themselves.
