The Centre for Lifelong Learning is working on a new programme of courses which we hope will widen our appeal to the local community. We are very interested to find out local people’s views on what they are interested in learning about. We would really appreciate your thoughts on the kinds of courses you might like to take and where.

Our Foundation and BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood is a new programme starting in October 2016.

If you are currently working in the early years sector or associated field, or simply take an interest in how children learn and develop, the Foundation Degree (FdA) in Early Childhood is just for you. You might be an early years educator, a parent, a grandparent or a health worker, for example, or simply wish to extend your knowledge and understanding about early childhood. Congratulations to CLL student Pat McCarry whose work has been published in a brand new text book Coaching in Professional Contexts. Pat is currently a student on our MA Coaching course. The book is edited by Christian van Nieuwerburgh and is published by Sage.

Congratulations to CLL student, Marie-Claire O’Brien. She has set up a non-profit organisation, The New Leaf Initiative, which has been selected as a finalist for the People’s Projects award.
