30 Credit PGA in Careers Leadership at Level 7 (online and self directed)
For School and College-based staff who have been assigned the Careers Leader role.
Delivered wholly online study at your own pace, this programme will cover the career development theory, policy and practice you need for the leadership, management, coordinating and networking central to the Careers Leader role.
Drawing on your school or college's own assessment against the Gatsby benchmarks you will use the course content and labour market information to shape your own careers programme.

The course offers you the opportunity to study entirely self-directed and all content is delivered and available online. You will have access to flexible tutorial support and extensive online learning resources. The course and assignment are designed to be completed in a minimum of 15 weeks but can be completed more flexibly.
Scheduled cohorts for the upcoming year are due to run in September, December, January and March this academic year.
You will be given a submission date for the assignment when you start the course.
You will complete one written assignment at the end. This will ask you to consider the implications of your organisation’s context and learner profile for your career learning strategy; your plan for meeting the benchmarks; and to critically appraise your style and approach to careers leadership. The course materials, and learning experience, should give you a strong basis for completing the assignment.
This programme is funded by the Careers Enterprise Company (CEC). You will need to be registered with CEC and engaged with the course to avail of the funding. Please continue to register and submit your interest in attending our PGA course via CEC.
