CEIGHE courses are delivered by the University of Warwick in collaboration with AGCAS and lead to an award by the University. All the courses are approved by AGCAS and provide evidence in support of the National Occupational Standards for Career Development. The MA, PG Diploma and PG Certificate courses are also approved by the Career Development Institute (CDI) as meeting the qualification requirement for the UK Register of Career Development Professionals.
Each module is taught via a blend of contact time and distance learning with the precise blend varying according to each module. You will be taught by experienced AGCAS Trainers for at least two modules. The workshops are highly interactive and led by experienced career development professionals. The distance-learning elements are taught via a virtual learning environment and include use of multimedia materials and forums. Assessment usually takes the form of practice-based assignments. Everyone on the MA, PG Diploma and PG Certificate starts with the core modules in Career Development Theories and the Challenges of Careers Work in Higher Education.
