If you are currently working in the early years sector or associated field, or simply take an interest in how children learn and develop, the Foundation Degree (FdA) in Early Childhood is just for you. You might be a nursery worker, childminder, teaching assistant, parent, grandparent or a health worker, for example, or simply wish to extend your knowledge and understanding about early childhood. You will also have the opportunity to progress directly from the FdA to a BA(Hons) in Early Childhood at the University of Warwick. This is excellent preparation for Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), as well as for other associated careers such as play therapy or foster parenting.
“The course has helped me to see how others work, so that I can improve my practice in a work-setting alongside other professionals, parents and the children.”
