Social Work
.
The University of Warwick has a long-established reputation for delivering high-quality social work training. Our BA(Hons) Social Work degree apprenticeship has been designed in conjunction with employers at a range of local councils and has been approved by the HCPC (now regulated by Social Work England).
We work with local authorities, employers, those with lived experience and partner agencies to develop our social work provision for the future. Our graduates are keenly sought and have strong employment prospects as social workers in a variety of statutory, voluntary, and private organisations.
Teaching Fellow in Social Work, James McGeoghegan, discusses his journey from studying his BA (Hons) Social Studies 2+2 route here to achieving his Master's in Social Work. He now teaches on the Social Work degree apprenticeship.
