I wanted to do something for myself

My journey started 4 years ago with 2 other ladies who I met a couple of years before when studying Level 3 Supporting ,teaching and learning in schools.

It has been a roller coaster of a journey, and I wanted to do something for myself. I was recently separated and moved house the year I started, so I was being a single mum and juggling work life -- however I have surprised myself in what I can achieve and I feel lost without University work.

I thought that when I have finished University I would be done with studying or progressing further on a personal level as well as academically and professionally. Through University I have met some wonderful and inspiring people who I have learnt a lot from through their personal and professional development. The staff through my journey have been amazing -- especially Charlotte and Rachel who have supported through the highs and lows not only academically but on a personal level too.

Graduation day was amazing and I had the best day celebrating what I have achieved with my family!
