PG Tips
Join us for a break from your studies with free refreshments, to meet other postgrads, and to share tips on postgrad life. PG Tips runs every week. It is an event which you can drop in and out of.
It is an opportunity to ask questions outside of your department and supervisor on all aspects of postgraduate life, whether that's how to apply for a PhD, how to balance your study time and your social life, or simply where does the best coffee or food on campus. Whether your queries are academic or pastoral, our Library Student Partners will share their advice, or direct you to the appropriate service.
PG Tips: Festive Feedback
Join us for a break from your studies with free refreshments, to meet other postgrads, and to share tips on postgrad life. This is an event which you can drop in and out of. Our PG Tips theme for the week is Festive Feedback. Come along to the PG Hub and share your feedback on PG Tips while indulging in some Christmas activities!

URSS support session
This session will support students who are considering applying to the Undergraduate Research Support Scheme (URSS). It will explore how to develop an idea, look at working with a supervisor, how to complete the form and submit it, and useful tips for conducting your research.

Housing Options for Returning Students - Whether you're an undergraduate or postgraduate student returning to study at Warwick for the 2025/2026 academic year, you may already be thinking about where you'd like to live next year. Our advice is don't rush. You'll have the option to book a room on campus and take advantage of the many benefits available. Alternatively, if you're unsuccessful in securing a room on campus or you'd like to explore living off campus, you can look for suitable properties off campus using Warwick Studentpad.
Students have the opportunity to join us at our housing events to explore the accommodation options available. Wherever you decide to live - we're here to help!
Warwick Christian Union Carol Service
A winter evening of carols, both classic and contemporary, performances from Warwick Acapella Society, VOX Warwick, our very own CU Choir, and more! Finished with a fine selection of refreshments - think shortbread, mince pies, hot chocolate and hot dogs!
Research Refresh Festivities
Research Refresh gives PGRs the opportunity to take a break from their work, chat with other researchers, and enjoy some board games, as well as free coffee, cakes and snacks. Come along to our weekly Research Refresh with a twist! This week we’ll be going all out to celebrate the festive holidays with Christmas activities for all to enjoy.

Research Refresh gives PGRs the opportunity to take a break from their work, chat with other researchers, and enjoy some board games, as well as free coffee, cakes and snacks.
These sessions are also a great opportunity to network with other researchers, discuss your research, and to take a break so that you can return to your work refreshed and relaxed. Drop in at any time during the event and stay as long as you like.
Seasonal Makers Market
We're delighted to host our second Seasonal Makers Market this December, featuring an array of independent, local traders, selling handcrafted and sustainably made items. Accompanied with festive live music in the foyer.
Ratpack: A Swinging Christmas at the Sands
The stars of ‘The Rat Pack - Swingin’ at the Sands’ will be bringing the ultimate Christmas party to the UK this festive season following a sold-out show at the West Ends’ Adelphi Theatre last December.
University Carol Service
We look forward to welcoming you at The Chaplaincy for our special candlelit service of carols and readings for Christmas time. We are joined by The University Chamber Choir, and the service will be followed by mulled wine, mince pies and other festive refreshments. All are very welcome!
Christmas Lounge
A warm welcome is extended from The Chaplaincy, to students remaining on campus during the University’s Christmas vacation every day between 7th December 2024 - 1 January 2025, including the University's close down. The Chaplaincy will be open between 7am and 10.30pm, where there will be a lounge area with sofa, mock fireplace, Christmas tree and board games. Please make yourselves welcome!
Biodiversity Walk - birds
