Status Description
Please find below the various statuses your application(s) may be currently in.
Acceptance received |
We have received an acceptance of an offer made to you. If you wish to defer this offer, please contact the Postgraduate Admissions Service and we will forward your request for approval, and you will receive a revised offer email if approved. |
Application fee outstanding |
We have not received a payment for your application. Your application for a taught course cannot be processed or sent to the relevant department until a payment is received. Unpaid applications will be deleted after 20 working days. |
Application form submitted |
Your application has been completed and submitted to the Postgraduate Admission Service as well as the relevant department for consideration. You will receive an acknowledge email within 24 hours with your Warwick ID number and a weblink for you to upload supporting documents. |
Application form still to be completed |
Your application has been started but you have not yet submitted this application. |
Application form submitted, application fee outstanding |
Your application has been submitted but your payment has not yet been confirmed by Global Payments, this may take up to an hour after payment to be confirmed by Global Payments. Your application for a taught course (other than Postgraduate Award) cannot be processed or sent to the relevant department until the payment is received. Unpaid applications will be deleted after 20 working days. |
Application with Department | Your application has been sent to the relevant department and you should expect a decision usually within 4-6 weeks for Taught course or 6-8 weeks for Research courses (some courses may take longer). Whilst your application is in this status the Postgraduate Admissions Service will not be able to give you any further information on the status of your application. |
Decision posted | A decision has been received from the relevant department and an email has been sent to you with relevant details. |
New application form | You have started the application but have not moved beyond the Welcome page. |
No course selected | You have started the application but you have not yet selected a course to apply for. |
Payment Received | A payment has been processed for your application, either by Global Payments or an alternative payment method. You will receive an acknowledge email within 24 hours with your Warwick ID number and a weblink for you to upload supporting documents. |
Please note:
A change to the status of your application may take up to 24 hours to appear on the tracking screen (e.g. Decision Posted).
Please do not contact the University until 24 hours has passed if you believe a change of status should have occurred.
