What is studying at University like?
Teaching and learning
Our teachers are among some of the world’s best researchers and are active in their fields. This means that you’ll have access to some of the latest innovation and thinking. Added to that, you'll benefit from the contrasting perspectives and experiences of the students you learn alongside, who come to Warwick from many different countries and backgrounds.
You can also play an active role in developing your own learning. You may have opportunities to work alongside academics on research projects, use role-play or debate to provide a new perspective, or collaborate on a group project.
Our approach to learning will help you develop an agility of thinking that’ll set you apart well after graduation.
We also offer flexibility to study modules outside of your main degree subject, and to study a foreign language.
How is studying at university different from school?
Julia says, "Growing up, I was always under the impression that if I had fewer subjects to study, I would find school easier. Therefore, it was a huge shock when I made the jump from GCSEs to A Levels...From A Levels to university, the step up is similar in a lot of ways."
