Staff job application & interview skills workshops
Come and join us on Thursday 28 March in the Library Training Room (L2.23) for some one-hour workshops in making job applications or attending interviews. Tutors from UNISON West Midlands are coming to deliver them in-person. All staff are welcome although booking is essential. See full agenda.

Attend the National March & Rally to protect the Right to Strike
Today, the government has passed laws that could restrict the right to strike for over five million workers. The right to strike is a fundamental British liberty. We must defend it at all costs. Attend the national march and demonstration in Cheltenham on 27 January 12:00-14:00! Contact us to arrange coaches or help with transport costs.

Join us for lunch and the UNISON Exhibition at the MRC
We are excited to present a unique UNISON exhibition curated by the Modern Records Centre on campus on Tuesday 31 October 2023 12:00-13:00. Come along to the MRC to learn about the largest trade union in the UK public sector, including its history of movements, activities and key figures. Archivists at the MRC will provide the stories behind the rich collections stored and curated on campus and answer any questions you may have.
Remembering Hiroshima
This year marks the 78th anniversary of the Hirshima bombing, and in Coventry there will be a Hiroshima Remembrance Service in Coventry Cathedral 2-3pm on 6th August.
