2008-2009

In 2009 I am co-organising the English Postgraduate Symposium.

Date:  24th June 2009

Venue:  Wolfson Research Exchange, 3rd floor of library.

This annual one-day conference brings together MPhil/PhD students within the department, providing them with the opportunity to test-out and develop their ideas in a friendly and stimulating environment.  The conference covers all areas of research and is structured into panels of two or three speakers, with each panel chaired by a member of academic staff. 

2009-2010

For the Academic year 2009-2010 I am co-organising the Arts Faculty Postgraduate Seminar Series, which meets twice a term to listen to and discuss presentations by various research students in the Arts Faculty.  This year we are seeking to encourage all postgraduates, including MA and Diploma students, to participate-- adding further, more interesting dimensions to the event.   We hope to bring the Arts Faculty together more frequently, in order for students to utilise and fully appreciate the depth and dynamics of interdisciplinary research.  For more information, or if you are interested in presenting, either click on the page titled 'Seminar Series'.  Alternatively, you can email me directly.
