Our Research Culture
We run various programmes to help facilitate a stronger research culture. We run research seminars led by departmental staff, PhD students and a range of distinguished visiting speakers. Our postgraduate community have their own Postgraduate Research Group for sharing and discussing research and ideas in a friendly, informal atmosphere. We also run and host the Midlands Television Research Group and organise and hosts major international film and television studies conferences.
Our Building
Our home on campus, the Faculty of Arts Building (FAB) is a stunning eight storey building which completed in 2021. Bringing together arts and humanities staff, students and research centres into a modern and flexible space that enables collaboration, creativity and innovation to flourish.
