Week 10
Read the 'essential reading' and the primary source, along with a source from the 'further reading'.
Use these sources to prepare a short 200 word answer to a seminar question.

Week 9 - no seminar due to strike
Week 8
Read the ‘Essential Reading’, and read a couple of pages of one of the electronic resources on the right-hand side of the page, such as Columbus’ letters or ‘John Carter Brown Archive of Early American Images’. You should have enough knowledge to be able to explain what you chose, and what you liked about it.
Week 7
Read two of the three sources under ‘recommended reading’.
Using the seminar questions, reflect on how the different historical actors you come across in the reading and lectures may have interacted with each other.
