Research project in theory and practice

The research project is the last--but definitely not the least--assignment due in this module. Weeks 2 and 3 of term 3 are dedicated to this assignment.

In week 2, the lecture will explain the assignment in general terms, expanding on the written description. The seminar will be based on past examples of research projects written for this module.

In week 3, the lecture will be another panel lecture. The panel will be made up of early modernists who will talk about obstacles they have faced in their research and solutions they have found. The seminar will be a workshop-style event dedicated to trouble-shooting students' research projects as they currently stand. This works best if students have already done some work (however preliminary) on their projects!

Up-to-date content will be posted here closer to the time.
