History Module Fair 2026

All current first year and intermediate year students wanting to take History modules are invited to the History Module Fair on Wednesday 11 March 2026.

The Module Fair is an opportunity to talk to staff about their modules so that you can choose which modules you want to take.

Our module fair can get very busy and noisy. If you'd prefer a quieter space, then come early to browse our module posters without the crowds - from 11.30am.

Briefing: Intermediate Year

Monday 9th March | 1pm | MS.02

The Historical Research core module
Details of syllabi for intermediate years
15 CATS modules
Venice short course modules
Pre-approved outside option modules
Options for joint honours students
Options for students on the Venice programme

Briefing: Final Year

Tuesday 10th March | 10am | L3

Current intermediate year students should attend this session to find out about final year options, including:

The Dissertation
Details of syllabi for final years
15 CATS modules

What can I expect from the module fair?

The whole of Floor 3 will be filled with posters representing our different modules. Staff will also be there to answer your questions and tell you more about their modules.

Please note that some staff teaching in 2026-27 may not be present at the module fair. Where this is the case, there will be other members of staff who can answer your questions.

We encourage you to browse the whole fair and think about a wide range of modules. Modules will be clearly labelled so that you can distinguish intermediate and final year modules.

Please note that our module fair can be busy and noisy. This year our module posters will be available for browsing from 11.30am if you would prefer to read the posters in a quieter setting.
