Important UK Travel Information

From 2 April 2025, all visitors who do not need a visa will need an electronic travel authorisation (ETA)Link opens in a new window to travel to or transit through the UK. An ETA lets you travel to the UK for tourism, visiting family or certain other reasons for up to 6 months. British and Irish citizens do not require an ETA. An ETA costs £16. Other websites may charge more to apply. Avoid websites that imitate government services.

Travelling to the campus

• The University of Warwick campus is on the outskirts of the city of Coventry, and the nearest major railway station is Coventry. The closest airport is Birmingham International Airport, or there are regular rail services to London for easy access to/from the London airports. Accommodation

• Since we are a campus university, the most convenient accommodation option is the on-campus conference centre, here. This can get booked up very quickly, so you are advised to book your accommodation as quickly as possible if you are hoping to stay on campus.
