This series of focus groups has been organised by the Queering University programme as part of the Understanding LGBTQUIA+ Student Experiences project.

In the LGBTQUIA+ Student Experience Survey 66% of respondents shared that they had disguised, hidden, or chosen not to share their LGBTQUIA+ identity in the last year because they were afraid of the consequences of coming out. The programme would like to explore these experiences further, and invites anyone who has disguised, hidden, or chosen not to share their LGBTQUIA+ identity during their time as a student at Warwick to register.
