This page provides information on key LGBTQUIA+ inclusion initiatives, resources, and support available for members of the Warwick community. It is non-exhaustive, but offers an accessible starting point.
Being LGBTQIA+ isn't a mental health problem, and it doesn't cause mental health problems. But those of us who are LGBTQIA+ often face difficult experiences, like discrimination and stigma. These experiences can affect our mental health. Access Mind's LGBTQIA+ mental health resources here.
The Rainbow Allies scheme exists to empower all members of our community to create a safe and inclusive environment LGBTQUIA+ people at Warwick. Sign up to be a Rainbow Ally here.
If your role or interests relate to teaching & learning, join the Queer & Trans Pedagogies learning circle. The circle discusses, develops, and shares best practice relating to trans-inclusive teaching and queer pedagogy.
When you feel ready, you can also become a Queering University contact for your department. Contacts support others around them to get more involved.
We recognise that there are barriers to asking about LGBTQUIA+ inclusive and queer practice, and are committed to breaking down those barriers. If you have questions, you can email the Queering University programme via , or ask them anonymously here.
