Medical Education

Do you remember being a student with a thirst for knowledge? Remember the tutor who inspired you, and gave you the confidence and drive to succeed? What if you could be that tutor for the doctors of tomorrow?

If you still have that thirst and drive, Warwick has a course that will enable you to harness the skills needed to make this a reality. You will be able to give back in the years to come. It doesn’t have to end here. Assist, teach and influence the future of the NHS.

Study at Warwick and teach for life.

Doctors and clinicians are frequently involved in training other healthcare personnel. At WMS, a range of courses have been designed to equip medical personnel with the required skills and knowledge for training the next generation of doctors. Successful completion of the module ‘Essentials of Clinical Education’ entitles participants to recognition as an Associate of the Higher Education Academy, whilst successful completion of a PGCert entitles participants to recognition as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

We recommend that students start with the Essentials of Clinical Education module, and then progress to further modules, or to the full programme to earn a PGCert, PGDip or MMedEd qualification.
