Meet the Team
Meet your committee

The LAMS PostDoc Society is led by our chair(s) and committee members. Each member holds a specific role within the committee. Our team are happy to help, so please reach out if you need us.

Cerys Currie
Co-Chair of the PostDoc Society (WMS)
I am a postdoc in Biomedical Sciences (WMS) working in Professor Andrew McAinsh’s laboratory. My research project aims to understand the effects of aneuploidy (wrong chromosome number) on spontaneous pregnancy loss and human female fertility decline with advancing age. This project requires close collaboration with the UHCW Centre for Reproductive Medicine and the University of Edinburgh, and is very exciting work!

Sally Adams
Co-Chair of the PostDoc Society (SLS)
I have been a post-doc at Warwick for several years, working on diverse projects, ranging from the circadian regulation of gene transcription in plants to the regulation of asymmetric cell division in a newly described nematode species.
I recently became a member of the technical support sub-group, that aims to revise technical support provision and development for SLS and WMS. I believe it is vital that post-doc voices are heard in such committees to allow the free flow of information between those in the lab on a daily basis and those providing and developing essential technical support.
