Directorate Team: who to contact (From 1st January 2025)

Dan Lasserson (Interim Director)
- Line management of academic staff previously managed by Amy (those affected should have received notification)
- Strategy and strategic changes, stakeholders, education and research networks
- Matters relating to the viability, profitability and sustainability of WAH
- DEM cases
- Teaching support
- Academic staff processes and opportunities (promotions, SLRS, fellowships)
Helen Muir (Head of Operations)
- Grants – ideate sign off, NOI sign off, initial contact for letters/statements of support for grants (these will then be allocated to Dan or Gavin as appropriate), matched funding and low margin recovery requests for grant applications, grant extensions or substantive changes
- Concur and OPERA sign off
- Risk assessment sign off
- New employment/staffing related queries - e.g. fixed term contract extensions, recruitment, change in FTE (these will then be allocated to the appropriate person to take forward)
- Directorate data/information requests – e.g. to support reporting, AthenaSWAN
- IT access/email account extensions
Anne-Marie Brennan (Senior Operations Manager)
- Health and Safety issues
- Sign off for PPIE forms (copy Agnes Chu into email)
- Project management – including advice on level costed into grants

Medical School Building
Catering
Refreshments can be ordered from Warwick Food and Drink. Contact foodanddrink@warwick.ac.uk with your requirements and a costcode. Further details and menus can be found here.
Kitchens
Ground floor: B025 and A021 (access code 1987).
First floor room A137 (access code 3624)
Milk is provided. Please bring your own coffee, tea, crockery and cutlery. Most kitchen areas provide hot water, microwaves, toasters, fridges, and dishwashers.
Porters
The porters are Tony Rollings (all week a.m. only) and Seth Bailey (Wed-Fri all day). They are responsible for all the post, keys, room set up, office moves etc.
The Porters' Office is Room A129 on the first floor of the Medical School Building, with office hours 0800-1600. They are contactable by email at wms.porters@warwick.ac.uk and by phone on extension 75771.
Reception
Reception is the first point of contract for all visitors to the Medical School.
Located in the Medical Teaching Centre, Reception is open from 8:30-18:00 hours Monday-Friday. Telephone ext. 74880.

Resources Room
The Resources Room A135 is on the first floor of the Medical School Building, access code 1987.
Pigeonholes for MSB-based staff are located here.
You can also find basic stationary supplies, the shredder and photocopier/printer. Please contact Reception if further stationery supplies are needed.
Room bookings
WMS room bookings for MSB, MTC and IBRB.
If you can't find a room for the time you need, try the central timetabling system, where you can book rooms on Gibbet Hill or across campus.

Warwick Medical School IT Services
Support is available:
- AV, including conference calls and teaching
- equipment loans
- data management and security
- computer and software management
Ordering computers
Computers should normally be ordered on a research costcode. Please liaise with your Project Officer or Directorate Support Staff to order the equipment. A step-by-step guide is available on the WMS IT pages.
If there is no research funding available for the laptop, please discuss with the Divisional Manager and she will liaise with Julie Sherriff. WMS IT will then arrange the purchase of the equipment.
