The teaching commitment
As a member of the teaching team, we thank you for your commitment to:
- Oversee your students' education and progress
- Meet your students and discuss their learning objectives early in the block and review these at intervals
- Provide regular teaching sessions - at least 2 hours face to face / week
- Provide regular observation and feedback for each student
- Review your students' e-portfolios
- If you are in a faculty team, or a specialty group, please communicate with each other to assess your students' progress and decide if there are commendations /concerns (either academically or professionally).
- There should be a single named supervisor for each student
- Please liaise with the Block Leads, Trust Leads and Academic Clinical Directors (ACDs)
- We expect you to be up to date with Equality and Diversity training.
