The University hosts a general webpage with travel directions to the University of Warwick, which you may find useful, but here are a few additional notes.
We recommend that you keep a copy of the Central Campus map to direct taxi drivers about where to drop you off. The Astronomy group is in Physical Sciences (there is also an interactive map). Once at the entrance to Physical Sciences (the location is marked on the map below and on the central campus map), turn right inside the main door. The bulk of the astronomy group is on the ground floor - please ask anyone to direct you to the seminar organisers' office.
If you come by train, the nearest station is Coventry Station, not Warwick! Coventry station is well connected to London and Birmingham, and taxis are available to bring you to campus. Alternatively, buses (numbers 11 & 12) run frequently from Coventry station to campus.
If you are arriving by car, please bear in mind that parking may difficult during term time. We recommend that you use the multistory car park just south east of Physical Sciences on the campus map. Campus carparks operate a pay & display ticket system and more information can be found here
Warwick Campus is well served by Birmingham International Airport (BHX). From the airport, trains run to Coventry Station (journey time ~10mins) or you can take the airline bus direct to Warwick Campus.
When booking flights please book well in advance if possible. Before completing the booking, confirm the details of the flight with the seminar organiser(s).
Remember to keep all your original receipts in order to claim back your expenses. An expenses form will be given on the day for you to return to us completed with your receipts.
