Digital Marketing is one of four specialisms within our MSc e-Business Management course. This specialism will prepare you to utilise digital marketing channels to deliver effective and strategic campaigns.

Specialism overview

Digital Marketing plays an important role in the success of businesses, both large and small. Through digital marketing channels and techniques, businesses are able to reach customers in a cost-effective way, which is both scalable and measurable. Digital marketing allows us to communicate with prospects at every stage of their journey. As well as being able to identify our target audiences, we are also able to make informed decisions about messaging and maintain customer relations. This specialism is designed for graduates who wish to work in digital marketing roles either within an agency or directly for business.

This specialism prepares students to effectively utilise digital marketing channels (such as social media, search engines, PPC, programmatic advertising, and content marketing) to deliver effective digital marketing campaigns. The specialism also incorporates cutting-edge technologies and techniques for analysing customer data and achieving digital transformation throughout the organisation.

Meet the Course Director: Liping Zheng

Liping has experience in data and analytics, combining industry and academic roles. She currently leads the MSc e-Business Management course at WMG, drawing on her prior experience in digital operations and analytics roles at major companies like JD Tech and CITIC Press.

Scholarships and Bursaries

WMG will be awarding over £1 million in scholarships and bursaries to students commencing study on any of our full-time MSc programmes beginning in September 2026.
