For me, TeamWork enabled me to develop my skill set and sharpen skills already learned from past experiences. This opportunity enabled me to be part of an organization’s project and play my role in the organization’s research and data collection to achieve the company’s sustainability goals. TeamWork also provides the chance to collaborate with many students from different universities across the globe; this further enriched my intercultural skills.

My approach to teamwork was to get as much out of the experience as possible. I aimed to complete tasks set by my mentor to the best of my ability. Specifically, the experience enabled me to work with my teammates, on our project, to find innovative ideas and solutions on how the youth could be involved more in sustainability and climate change goals.

I also aimed to develop my intercultural skills by making new connections and networks throughout the project which I have achieved with my fellow teammates and our mentor.

What was the highlight of TeamWork for you?

Teamwork has been an enriching experience both in terms of the work experience and the intercultural aspect of the program. I have been able to develop connections and networks with not only the team members that I worked with but various students from other countries. The project enabled me to develop my intercultural skills as I was able to communicate my ideas effectively to my group and mentor.
