Coping with Bereavement

Who is it for ?

Staff who have experienced the death of someone close – a parent, friend, partner, sibling, etc

In this session you will cover:

  • Sharing with others to look at their experiences too
  • Developing some useful ways of thinking about bereavement
  • Thinking about some differences between simple and complex loss
  • Exploring how these might relate to how you feel
What will I get out of this?

By the end of the session you will have gained an understanding of:

  • Some sense of being less alone in your loss
  • A chance to express and explore in a safe environment what you feel
  • A number of possible ways to think about loss
  • The opportunity to think about ways forward for you
