  Mindfulness (Introduction)
Who is it for? Staff who are looking to cope with stress, anxiety and depression. It is also for anyone who is open to new ways of being and of experiencing life.
Content In this session you will cover:
  • An introduction to what Mindfulness is and is not
  • Short examples of three types of Mindfulness meditation
  • Feedback and discussion
What will I get out of this? By the end of the session you will have gained an understanding of:
  • A skill to practice and develop that can lead to self-acceptance
  • Present moment awareness
  • The concept that you are not your thoughts
