New for PhD students - Knowing Me?... Knowing You?... There is no current date arranged for this workshop in term 3, thank you for your interest.
A two part workshop exploring self awareness and relating to others.
Post graduate study can feel lonely, isolated, competitive and difficult to manage at times. For some, it can mean managing two 'jobs' and maybe a family too? No longer a student and yet not part of the world of work. You may have found yourself asking, for example, ...
- Where do I fit in?
- How do I keep myself motivated?
- Do others recognise what I'm doing?
- Is my research meaningful?
- What do others think of me?
- How do I cope with the pressures and could I relate to them differently?
The key to all of this is greater self awareness. It is often difficult to change your situation but it is possible to change self and how you relate to both your circumstances and to others.
This workshop will provide a supported, unique small group environment, where there will be an opportunity for you to discuss the following questions -
- Who do you think you are?
- How do you relate to others?
- How do others see you?
