Westlaw UK is a leading law database used in academic and legal practice in the UK. The database publisher provides online training and a certification test. Successful completion of the test leads to a certificate which can enhance your employability.

• This session provides an opportunity for you to take the basic level Westlaw UK certification test in a supported environment with Jackie Hanes, Academic Support Librarian
• There is no formal teaching in this session, but attendees can ask questions about the database and receive help with questions in the test
• This session is intended for UG and PGT law students only
• Pre-session work is required. Attendees should complete online Westlaw UK database training before attending the session (approx. 1 hour)
• Places in this session are limited to 35 people
