WESTLAW login problems

We are investigating the issues but if you do encounter this, we would recommend clearing the browsing history in the first instance. If you are using a Mac, then the Chrome internet browser does appear to work best. If this does not work, then you will need to call Westlaw's customer services on 0345 600 9355 and follow the process below:

  • Telephone 0345 600 9355
  • Press 2 for Support, then 2 for Westlaw/Lawtel
  • Advise support team that you are a librarian at the University of Warwick and a student is unable to login to Westlaw with a ‘no valid registration keys’ error message. Ask them to reactivate the student account.
  • They will ask for the student’s name and email – you will need to spell out Warwick for them (US based)
  • They will make checks and will reactivate the account while you are on the phone
  • They may ask for your name and email address and open a ticket for you on their enquiry system
  • The student should then be able to access Westlaw again
