Library job vacancies

New phase

The Library is central to the delivery of the University strategy by providing a high-quality service to all of our stakeholders in the delivery of teaching, learning, research and our civic ambitions. This is the perfect time to join us as we begin a programme of transformation. Our new strategy will revolutionise the academic experience by providing a dynamic and cutting-edge digital library that empowers students, staff, and researchers with the latest technologies and resources. Through innovative approaches to information management, data analysis and emerging technologies, we will strive to create a seamless and personalised experience that enhances teaching, learning and research; to empower our research community to navigate the complex open research landscape in a financially sustainable and simple way and to develop learning spaces that provide an enhanced and inclusive physical and digital experience.

Diversity

Studies have shown that women and people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds and people with disabilities or learning differences are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single qualification.

The Library is dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with one or two of the criteria, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate.
