- We are subject specialists and can provide detailed and expert advice to help you carry out independent research for your assignments, projects and theses. We can help you to:
- make the best use of the extensive range of Library resources available at Warwick
- locate material on your reading list
- search specialist databases to find scholarly information including journal articles and papers
- Please contact us at any time to arrange a one to one appointment for help with literature searching or for more information about any of our resources
- We can provide guidance and information on plagiarism and referencing for all students and staff
- We are also responsible for developing the library collections in our specialist areas – please contact us if there is a book you need for your subject which we don’t have
Academic Staff
- Your Academic Support Librarian can work with you to integrate information and research skills within your course. Our successful Student as Researcher initiative encourages students to develop as independent researchers
- We can also work with you to ensure appropriate resources are in the Library to support your modules. The Talis Aspire Reading List Management System enables resources to be ordered in a timely way and in appropriate numbers.
- And, of course, we can help you with your own information needs and can provide information and advice on the Library’s extensive resources to support your research
